The Great Pagoda in Kew Gardens was designed by Sir William Chambers and restored in 2018. Completed in 1762 as a gift for Princess Augusta, the founder of the gardens. It is a ten-storey octagon tower, almost 50m tall with each level 30cm narrower than the one below.
